Jumping rope
Below are some good videos to show proper technique and also shows some of the more advanced moves. Watch at least the first 2 videos to understand some of the benefits as well as how to get started with proper form. Jumping rope is a vital part of the STS Athletic Performance Program (APP), instead of some boring video of me showing you how to jump rope, figured I'd leave it to those that have made a life of it.
The Obsessed interview is pretty cool, Tori shows some moves, which are insane...but is just a bonus, don't get caught up in the tricks so much in these videos other than to know that with practice you can do those if you wich, simple double foot jump roping is all you need to get in better shape, become quicker, and strengthen your lower legs and ankles to prepare for higher impact moves, no tricks are necessary.
